A non-depolarizing CuTi neutron supermirror guide for PERC

چکیده

Neutron guides are used to transport slow neutrons from sources experiments. Conventional neutron supermirror use alternating thin layers based on nickel and titanium. Due the magnetic properties of nickel, their reflection spin-dependent, in particular when exposed high fields. Motivated by requirements precision experiments beta decay, we present novel supermirrors copper titanium, which preserve beam polarization. These show excellent reflectivity prove be very stable even temperatures.
